Welcome to the Marconi Veterans web site

This site was established in February 2004 as an additional means of keeping all Marconi Veterans in touch with the events surrounding the Company.

For many years the main contact has been via the annual Newsletter, published at the beginning of each year, and the annual lunch that is held as near to Guglielmo Marconi's birthday on April 25 as convenient.

The Marconi veterans Association has members from all the companies in Marconi Electronic Systems Limited (previously called GEC-Marconi Limited; The Marconi Company Limited; Marconi's Wireless Telegraph Company Limited; Wireless Telegraph and Signal Company Limited).  Most of the members are still resident in the UK but there is a significant number overseas and it is hoped that this website with its easy access from anywhere in the world will provide a useful source of information and contact.
